Morning Glow over Loch Cleat
This was our inaugural trip to Scotland and we were treated to some really spectacularly bad weather. But with great weather comes the chance for great light, and we were fortunate enough to be gifted with several spectacular sunrises (though zero sunsets).
It is not often that I am completely taken aback by the beauty of my surroundings, but that is precisely how I feel whenever I am at The Quiraing. It is one of the most alien places on Earth. It also has a tendency for attracting worst weather but also the most incredible light — this was one of three of the grandest sunrises I have ever seen. The golden light was really amplified by the autumn having already yellowed much of the grass.
